So any update?
For the cash cow this game would become for you, with the instant tens of thousands more seats sold to VR owners on Steam.
⛳1- There are almost 1.5 million VR users on Steam.
⛳2- Golf is utterly perfect for VR. Especially as it has a campaign, with models for the other players on the course with you. Which would make this game unique. No other VR golf game has this feature.
And for ours, your future VR buyers / users.
Thank you. 💎
especially since its the same devs that made The Golf Club which was VR and is pretty good! I can't imagine its difficult to implement, considering I've just messed around in my free time in Unity and Unreal and VR implementation is pretty dang easy. In most cases its a click of a button and adding in controllers which is a drag and drop into the code.
Instant Buy when VR support is added (or at least announced officially)
TGC VR... was so far ahead of it's time, yet, suffered from game-breaking control issues. Issues that were major in the sense that it made the game unplayable (for me, anyway), but seemed like they could probably be fixed rather easily. The core game, though, was fantastic. Especially considering the game released in 2017. Imagine the possibilities in 2020...
Very sad that the dev team abandoned it so quickly. I still believe that if they fixed a few things, right now, today, TGC VR would be one of the better VR games on the market. And that's saying something. 2K21 in VR, if done right, could have been a masterpiece.
And as stated above, VR is no longer a niche thing. More and more people have a VR set and it is only going to get more popular. I used to think it was gimmicky, but the truth is, VR is very much going to be a strong force in the future of gaming.
It's like if they still made a 2d golf game back in 2005.
It's mainly an online game and you can't even text chat in game and you have to use a 3rd party app (Steam).
You'd have to have a strickly VR swing with the touch controllers for it to make any sense. That would essentially mean a totally new game, which would be, probably, VR only, as the current VR TGC now currently is.
Otherwise, you might as well play in Theater mode. Frame rates would be substantially lower.
As well as many more VR owning (almost 1.5 million on Steam) golf game enthusiasts.
Jus like Racing games, etc...
This is exactly the type of game, that will garner a whole nother demographic of buyer, and a ton of purchases with VR support.
And MUCH more kudos on Steam, than if its "just another monitor golf game."
And golf in VR is incredible.
We just need one where there is a tournament mode, and you can see other NPCs on the course.
This is that game, with VR.
Heres hoping you devs bring it. ⛳🥽✅
Oh and since my last post, its now 1.9 million VR owners on Steam. (And growing)
