Triple advertisements, every time we start?
Is there some way out of this? Every time we start the game, we have to be bombarded by ads? It's having the opposite of the desired effect. Each time I see these ads, I feel less and less likely to buy 2k23.

Anybody know a way?
To get rid of all the advertisements that are now loading up before you can start the game?

Yeah, it bugs me too but...guys, all you really have to do is press a button three times and you can get on with your game! I just think there's mucho more other things to complain about.

It is beyond selfish. I get add coming in and more and going out of the game.

that's three more after the ten you already had to mash to start the game.:steammocking:

And just think of all of those burdensome keystrokes complaining about having to press another several buttonstrokes. It just doesn't seem worthy of the complaining time...It is what it is...as I'm so flipping tired of hearing. Enjoy the golf while the times allow.

Shoving ads into the game a year after we buy; I think it's a terrible practice and it deserves a few extra keystrokes in protest or we will surely keep getting this freemium treatment again and again. Besides, the player feedback sounds like the new title is effectively just the same game, yet again, only worse. I think this series may have peaked with The Golf Club 2. Possibly even the first one.

They are desperate, for sales, and it shows.
When one is desperate, one does questionable things.
Forcing us to view images of games (if we were playing), we would not need to see advertisements for.

The game peaked (for me) on [this one], (once RNG swing gimmick is turned OFF).

Also, and this is huge. one can still play this offline, after proving to STEAM you own it.

2k23 is truly, a missed opportunity, that I have to feel (some one) over there (knew) it was, but ala, diablo immortal, just slogged away and put it out.

When one lacks real competition, the impetus to create wonderful games goes away, ask madden. or wwe.

These ads are bloody awful and worsen the already painfully slow and tedious process to get into a match.

Tried 2k23. I imported my course from 2k21, quickly put the setup to be exactly the same and played a round. I immediately refunded. 2K23 actually looks worse imo, it has too much contrast and is oversaturated. The shadows make things appear pitch black, and they changed many assets which made my course look completely different, and worse.

Gameplay felt very similar, the driver sounds in 2k23 is amazing, and the swing tempo seem a little better, but other than that its pretty much the same. I prefered 2k21 tbh, so there was no reason to buy the new one. 2k21 is the best golf game I have ever played though, I love this game, I really doubt the new EA game will be as good as this.

Pretty sure 2k23 was made with consoles in mind, not to mention consoles are where you get great MTS* acceptance/subservience.

*MTS = microtransactions

You want to hear/read what is really is sad?

The upcoming ea golf game has 30 courses, no course builder, and is festooned with MTS.

2K21 golf (offline) never lets me down.
