No, it doesn't have an "official" Augusta. There are some fan-made versions, but those get removed and/or censored from search.

EA has just signed an EXCLUSIVE agreement for the Augusta National to be featured in the upcoming PGA Tour - Road to Augusta game that will be released in the future.

There are other courses that are also licensed by EA, and any fan made versions of these are also removed and/or censored as well. Some of these being, Pebble Beach, St. Andrews and Royal Melbourne.

The Official PGA courses in the game are:
Atlantic Beach CC
Bay Hill Club and Lodge
Copperhead Course
Detroit Golf Club
East Lake Golf Club
Quail Hollow Club
Riviera Country Club
TPC Boston
TPC Deere Run
TPC Louisiana
TPC River Highlands
TPC San Antonio
TPC Sawgrass
TPC Scottsdale
TPC Southwind
TPC Summerlin
TPC Twin Cities

In addition there are dozens of other PGA courses and hundreds of real courses that have been created by fans using lidar data.

I've read most all of your posts here, and I'll stick to my statement that you are uninformed.

I will agree about the pot bunker issue, but there are dozens of fantastic recreations of real links courses that still play very much like they do in the real world. And while it sucks we don't get true pot bunker layered sod visuals with the push of a button, there is a way to make them in the game, it just takes forever to do properly and when building a course time management is paramount.

Some of the "official" courses (like East Lake) have terrain and slope issues, and this is due to the vertical resolution of the underlying LiDAR data that was used and the way the designer chose to build it out. But with good data and some talent and patience, great renditions can and are made. Many designers (even official) don't even know how to properly set up pin locations and green speeds, but this isn't really a toolset issue.

I'm not even a remote fanboy of the designer, but I also realize that the course creator is designed to work with the lowest common denominator user/hardware (the old Xbox) and to be functional with a gamepad. It took me about 100 hours to make my first course (LiDAR rendition of one of my home courses) and the whole process was filled with one frustration after another, but I finally finished with a course that plays 95% like the real deal. Once I learned the limitations of the engine and adjusted my expectations, I embraced the designer and have continued to crank out dozens and dozens of real courses that all get high marks for being just like the real thing.

There are numerous issues with this game. Look at how handicap and slope ratings are handled. The horizontal terrain transition resolution is a joke. The random delay bug that always seems to happen during the backswing of a round winning putt. The list goes on...

But I still have loads of fun, and here is what I do to make real courses play as real as possible in PGA2k21.

Use only the silver clubs to keep distance in the realm of realism
Play on Master difficulty with all aids except green grid off
I don't use canned Splash and Flop shots

All of this is not information... it's called your opinion, which happens to have a lot of inane excuses for the deficiencies that you admit exist within this construct. And yes, you are a fanboy when you use the exact same talking points, verbatim, as the development team has consistently done... "lowest common denominator." That doesn't seem to have bothered other golf games and other course creators. But, it's a great marketing sound-bite when you want to gloss over the issues; which is indicative of an overall lack of attention to detail, at the very core.

I get that you have gotten attached to this process, since you feel like you've overcome some of the designer issues. But again, to say that yours or any other user-designed course plays like, "95% of the real deal," is just an opinion, which is not supported by all of the glaring issues that anyone can observe through the simple eye test. It also reveals that you agree that at least "5%" of that particular course doesn't play like the real thing.

Well, perhaps some of us see what you see as just "5%" missing, as more like 10-20% missing in terms of how a course plays in reality. And, over the course of 72 holes, it starts to get a bit obvious that you're not simulating the course, much less simulating golf.

However, your opinion doesn't make anyone else "uninformed" about anything other than your own opinion, until you give it; and, the world doesn't revolve around your opinion.

So, since you think that your opinion is equivalent to new information, and those that don't agree with it must be, "uninformed," than I will "stick with my statement" that your rationale is an ignorant one.

In the end, all of us that purchased this game can only make the best of what we're working with. But just because we get involved with this game... doesn't mean we have to be unduly effusive about the level of accuracy in the courses this game puts out. There has simply been very little competition over the last five years. But, EA Sports, which is re-entering the market, has always made more accurate courses, and that will likely continue.

All of this being my opinion, of which I'm well informed about, thank you very much.

No there's not, I feel like it's a big loss too, but you can find the unofficial augusta course on the list of the courses created by the community
There are some societies that I believe run their own unofficial masters, using user created courses. Some of the players broadcast over on Twitch tv, and you can glean a lot of information by watching a few players and finding out what societies they play in, or in many cases, they run their own society.
