Not possible to use PS5 controller

Hi,
i am desperately trying to use my PS5 controller connected via bluetooth. The controller perfectly connects to steam but i am unable to use it in PGA. I tried selecting the PS4 Dual Shock in the game settings but it still forces me to use mouse and keyboard.
Is there any chance to use the PS5 controller in PGA?

No, I did not manage to get my PS5 controller working.

I tried Dual Shock 4 and Xbox Controller. None of these settings work with the PS5 Controller.

I got mine working through bluetooth.

You need to launch the game via big picture. Before you do so go to the controller options and select either global (ps) or forced on. Launch game and if not working, close the game, switch to the other controller option and relaunch.

you use a mouse because some people can't get a ps5 controller to work on this particular game?

No I use a mouse for pc games because quite a few of those who use a controller always complain about their controllers. I have never had a problem using any mouse on this game.

Forget all these people say and download DS4Windows. It's alot easier to plug in without the hasle of bluetooth. But if you must, their website has you pair it first through windows. Then start the app BEFORE opening the game. It can use a config through BIG puncture*. But it shouldn't be defaulted to only using big picture if you start it with DS4

launch big picture, select controller options and change it to Force On, this fixed it for me. the in game prompts arnt correct but it works fine

MAKE SURE THE LAUNCHER IS ON YOUR MAIN MONITOR. This helped my friend and was the only answer.
