Progression out of career mode ?
Only played 5 hours of the previous title. I got it to play with my family, only to find out that there was no progression outside of career mode. So in order for us all to progress, we all had to play on our own through the career modes. Kind of a strange way to be set up that ultimately ruined it for us.

Is it the same in this ?

As the devs are staying silent I can only assume it's still the same.
1500 in game and 200 in chat and no one knows. Seriously ?

Not sure what kind of progression you mean. You can play against other players at any time. You can create a private society and host tournaments for your family and friends. You can play hot seat with one controller. There is lots to do outside of the PGA tournament mode.

Just had a refund allowing me to get this for £17.66. For that price, at least if it's no good for the kids, I'll play it when the kids are out or asleep and I'll grab something on PS4 while the big sale is on.

Got my answer. Yes, there is progression out of career mode. I played a local match and gained xp, level up and earned money and gear. None of which happened in 2019.
Just a shame about the ice rink greens.
