Matchmaking would suit casual gaming nicely. It must have been meant in this game for advanced players and devices only because the game can otherwise be customized even to very easy level. I just made my first under par pro round at level 61 and surely won't be able to master it.

Online is embarrassingly bad right now. No stats, lobbies, game customization, not to mention simply changing game modes and can't join any matchmaking with party.

And with no communication from the devs there is no reason to believe any of it will get fixed. Hopefully it does.

Tiger Woods Online had those quite ok years ago like 4 players stroke play with strict timer etc.

I get the feeling they are taking the usual attitude towards sport games. Don't do very much and the suckers will still pay through the nose. This should have match making that pairs players using the same mode or allow the option to ignore differing modes.

They shouldnt have matchmaking period this is a PC game.It should have a pc lobby just like every good golf game on pc has ever had.Its the only way a PC golf community can come together and be a community it cant happen with the system thats in place.With a lobby I could set a game at any skill level I would want to and people that want to play that skill level can join it if they want.Wow what a revelation.This isnt a pc game its a console game and was meant for that only pretty much hence the matchmaking system.

Tiger Woods Golf had both lobbies and matchmaking... over 10 years ago.

You could set your level and look for games that fell within that difficulty, and the matchmaker would find you a game.

Or, you could create and set a game at the level you wanted to play, with or without aids, and other players could browse those games and join.

Most guys just played on the default level, but it was nice to know that you could set rated games at any level, and earn something for your time.

Kind of makes you wonder what these blokes were thinking when forgetting the entire community platform when making a golf game?

There is no such thing as a "society" without a virtual clubhouse, of which this game is sorely lacking.

All this game has is solo tournaments, that don't count towards much of anything. Gets boring real fast.
