PGA 2k21 killing Controller

Recently the game has started to not launch when my controller is plugged in ..
Its worked perfectly fine with my 360 controller up until today (1st Sep) now I have to unplug the controller and it kills my entire hub so nothing works.

Anyone else having issues lately ?
Am going to try using a PS4 controller and see how that works .. or if it works

I got a nyko air flow and doig very well until they decide to add a d-pad action for the swing so before I put the d-pad active I was able to swing but could`nt change my clubs or shot , so now I change for the d-pad and activated to be able to change my clubs and shots the new option not allowed me to swing no more
it `s so much complicated to manege the new swing and is not accurate either never saw one guy played the game (9 holes ) in matchmaking and stay in the fairway and soon you touch the true shot it `worse when is the time to make a swing I`m not got buy a controller specific for that game is nice to screw up a game for what ? the swing time mechanic suck big time and I don`t believe I will keep going to play matchmaking and get humiliated by a fake swing

Same thing is happening with my 360 controller. i have to assign the controller for each round i play and the control icons on the HUD are set to keyboard/mouse keys. plays fine after that but is still an inconvience

I had problem that every time I had to swing, I have to go to settings and choose mouse/keyboard. Seems like the program don't remember the settings :(

I am using an xbox 1 controller with zero issues ...i am sorry to hear of your guys frustrations ...hope you get it sorted soon

I decided to play with the mouse cause I got better way to send my ball at the place I desire but even that with the mouse the swing time is not true. I been practice for days in the range and courses never able to have a straight shot. I want to make more spin or give I little stretch on the ball, it just got ballistic and insane can`t a proper good shot so DEV: you need to fix your game, cause it really suck your timing swing what ever I swing it just says: fast or very fast and same swing gave you a slow or very slow, but never see a perfect swing it really pathetic and annoyed big time, when to come on a good game (graphictly). Why so impossible to enjoy to play with others and make the game more harsh

I had this same issue today and I fixed by going into the Steam menu in the upper left of the screen, Settings, Controller, General Controller Settings and then making sure the correct controller was selected and then configuring it. That worked for me. Hope you have figured it out by now, if you haven't, try that. GL
