Error HB-RS 1702

Is this a big issue, I have not been able to play the game since yesterday. Anybody else with this issue and any ways of solving

yes,, the team games are broken at times with that error when they wont start..

Error Code: HB-RS [1702]

I can't start the carreer mode anymore, i get Error Code: HB-RS [1702] . Apparently this is a online mode. Are the servers down? Anyone else have this error? What to do?

I am having the same problem. I have not found a way to fix it. Searching our error code says to switch from a hardwire connection to wifi and vice versa. It is probably their servers though

it must be, other games run smoothly online..

HB-RS 1702 Error

Just bought this game yesterday and was having a blast until i got this HB-RS 1702 error code. Now i play on my gaming desktop with windows 10 and i use my phone as my mobile hotspot to connect my desktop to the internet. My phone is the Galaxy note 20 ultra so it's brand new as well. I have no issues with other games but this one.

It is an absolute travesty that a game i spent 60.00 on is not playable because of this issue. I've tried all the supposed workarounds on the web and nothing works for me. I have no other source to connect to the internet but my phone. And i have good connection here.

So i need help here as i am extremely angry at the moment. Also i like Steam Valve corp to explain to me how they are letting 2K sports get away with this travesty. They are giving steam a bad name and is making me reconsider me buying anymore games from steam in the future.

I just want to play the game i spent 60.00 on is that simple. Thank you

The core of the issue is likely due to the servers of the game having problems. The developers at 2K have tweeted out that they were having some issues on their side, and that they were working on fixes. Hopefully, after you make some adjustments on your side, and the developers fiddle around with their servers, the issue disappears. Thank you for the response. As i stated in my original post i've tried this as well. I switched from using my phones hotspot to connecting it directly to my pc via my phone charger cable and tethering it and still don't work. Went back to my hotspot and the same result.

All i can do now is just play on my created courses. Don't understand how 2K Sports can release a game with such bad servers considering that without the ability of said servers to connect we cannot play the game as there is no offline mode which in itself is travesty of monumental proportions.

Having the same issue and made a ticket at 2k Support. they are investigating the issue.

Yeah i have too but they are not being very helpful. It's been a month since they sent out a tweet on twitter saying they where aware of the issues and are working to fix them. Still nothing has been resolved. I am currently blowing up their twitter feed to let them know of my displeasure regarding this issue.

Ok i uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I played 3 amateur games and my first 6 pro ones then on the 7th one The Juno cup i get the same error again just like the last time before the same golf course. I don't know what else to do.

Heck i cant play past the 7th pro tourtament The Juno cup without getting the HB-RS 1702 Error. Have reinstalled the game twice. It's freaking crazy.
