Transfer MyPlayer Between Computers

Is it possible to transfer your MyPlayer to another computer? I have 2 in my house. When I started PGA 2k21 on my 2nd computer it had me start over with creating MyPlayer. I am using the same Steam accounts and have tried creating the 2k account as well.

doesnt seem to me like you know how cloud save works, and you're choosing to be oblivious to the fact that the drive/PC (steamdeck) had to be reformatted so all the data is gone on the storage media, hence if it was in cloud I could continue my career instead of restarting.

Not a good idea ? steam deck ? C drive no longer with us , well go that way but does not seem right to me

How I was able to get everything where I left off with my golfer, clubs, everything from the original PC was to copy 2 folders over from that PC to the new PC.

I copied the entire "2K" folder over which is located here:
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\LocalLow\2K

and the entire "PGA TOUR 2K21" folder which is located here:
\steamapps\common\PGA TOUR 2K21

my file paths were the same on each PC btw.

Yes i do that but the gut above ? would you go this way with a steam deck

Users>"your username">AppData>LocalLow>2K>PGA TOUR 2K21

Inside that directory is a "Common" folder which I think has your MyPlayer appearance data file and a "Tour" folder which is where I think your career save is. I haven't had a chance to test it yet though.

No such appdata folder exists on either of my machines and that's what 2K wanted me to find to move the folder from old machine to the new one.

AppData is generally hidden, isn't it? You have to change a setting to be able to see it.

In Windows Explorer, View tab has a check box for Hidden Items. Check that and you should see AppData in your user folder next to Documents and Downloads.

Hi, not sure if anyone will see this, but I was able to find the save file location that contains the data for 2k23,

You would copy across this folder as it includes the files you are after

Documents\My Games\PGA TOUR 2K23

^For above it would be in your My Documents folder/section and then go from there, I see that it has the data files that for 2k21 were in the 'appdata\localow\2k' section, this should work for you, only thing is that I'm not sure how much it checks with the profile/cloud, but if it's with the same account it should be fine, goodluck.

As many have mentioned here, local game data is stored in c:\users\<yourname>\AppData\LocalLow\2K\PGA Tour 2K21

XP and coins seem to be in the cloud and get restored even in a new install on a new pc. I had trouble finding my clothing and golf bag that I had on MyPlayer. I believe I found it, the file is under the above path, then:
...\PGA Tour 2K21\Common\Profiles########.data

I copied this file over and Voila! I was wearing my saved clothing again, and the right clubs were in my bag.

^ and after swapping in that Profiles#######.data file, it appears I also had my Tour progress back, including the in-progress sponsorship where I had achieved the first 2 out of 3 objectives.
