INTERFACE Commentary
Overall this is looking very promising, keep up the good work!

Surfacebook (resolution 3000x2000 13inch)

1. No touch specific controls. I cannot change the display angle with the screen. I should be able to entirely play the game with only the touch screen, especially since I think the plan is to include tablet o/s in the future. (I desire to make it hard fixed as an overhead view, just like a board game. I can only do this with a mouse.)

2. The TREEs. While I love the initial visuals of the trees, I find they block visibility all over the board. Obviously Ygdrassil is massive and blocks visibility all over the board, but the smaller regional trees also obscure visibility locally. The game REQUIRES a no-trees option. Perhaps when looking from directly overhead the trees all vanish (like the banners become discs?)

3. Region color. If I play for a bit I get to learn the regions, but the color is not visible on the map.

4. Banner/Pillage reward. From the overhead view, the hotspot to pillage is not the disc but the base of the banner which is not visibly obvious. And shouldn't the disc look pillaged once that region has been pillaged?

5. Resolution settings. The option to change resolution NEEDS to be additionally a pull down list. The reason being if I am in windowed mode and rotate through resolutions, the screen becomes so tiny it is hard to see let alone click on the arrow to change resolutions.

6. Piece identification. I find it very difficult to identify which pieces are tied to which clan when they are on the board, especially in the region to succumb to Ragnarok. I recommend an option for bigger colored ring bases, or when I press on a clan icon all of that clans' pieces glow on the board or similar highlight.

7. Performance. An option to turn off all of the 3D motion and objects and reduce to an overhead 2D view would be great. As it is one 45 minute game of Blood Rage takes 50% of my 12 hour battery.

The card: Loki's Dragon, did not then grant a free Invade.

The play history does not record what cards where played. I used a Loki's Trickery and lost but was not granted the rage. But missed what card was played so not certain if this was a bug.

Nope it is a bug. Loki's Trickery does NOT steal a rage if you are a human player and you lose.

loki's trickery works, at least in single player. there is a bug tho that if 2 Loki cards are played in the same battle, the rage goes to the first Loki's Trickery player (left of the pillager, i think) -- i still think this is a bug, 2 Loki cards should result in the winner losing 2 rage - 1 to each of the Loki cards.

Unless - if the pillager only has 1 rage remaining, then the 1 rage should goto the first player to the left of the pillager, and the 2nd player to play Loki's Trickery gets 0 rage. (Cant steal what is no longer there). There was an extended discussion of this situation on BGG. But I believe that was the consensus. ymmv.

Agreed, the UI needs some cleanup & more intuitive controls

I'd also like to see the number of figures that are selected for a MARCH action before I target the new province to move to. My screen doesn't show the highlights well and I cannot count how many times troops were left behind when I intended to march them all out of a province. Frustrating! Placing a "4" or "3" etc above the marching arc would rectify this.
