Game won't stop crashing

My buddy recently bought me the game so the two of us could work on a universe together, but for some reason I can't get off the main menu. Everytime I try to hit any option, whether to create a new wrestler, arena, or universe mode. I'm absolutely baffled, I tried setting my date back wondering if the y2k bug was still hitting me- didn't work, tried running it in windowed, at a lower resolution, lower graphical settings. I've tried running it as admin, tried verifying the cache. At this point I have no idea what's left for me to do.

Here are my System Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
RAM: 32 gb

Every other game I have, runs like BUTTER and crashes are extremely rare, 2k20 is the first game I've ever had these kinds of problems with.

we have almost the same specs (im running a ryzen 7 2700x) and having the same issues. My game crashes whenever i attempt to start a match. Like the black screen before entrances start BAM...crash.

Check this out. It used to work, though I'm not sure that's still the case after the latest AMD drivers' update.

My CPU (Intel® Core™ i7-9700) and RAM (16 GB) are different but I used to have the same graphics card. I ended up purchasing a NVIDIA RTX Super 2070 with hopes of improving my experience....turns out....that didn't help at all. The game is very mediocre no matter what setup you have and that's with me having over 780 hours....>_>

On another note, I just recently bought 2K19 two weeks ago and the game has only crashed on me once. I was still playing 2K20 during that same two week period and that "game" crashed on me over 30 times.

I think you'd be happier with 2K19.

i finally got through to the support team and they are "supposedly" escalating it to the devs now considering i did everything their robot support center tells you to do way ahead of time.

i did the fix and somehow my controller wont enable ingame bevore that all was fine with controller i use an xbox one
