Error when starting on Win7 SP1 x64
When the download finished, I pressed Play and it just closed itself with no warning. I then ran it as Admin and it gave the following error:

"WWE2K20_x64.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point CreateFile2 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."

I could not find help with Google, does anyone know what this means? And has anyone with Win7 been able to play?

2K19 had no problems for me.

Their website says Windows 7 and I have a screenshot of it. I want a refund.

Does the game work on Windows 7?

Not working for me either on Windows 7 64-bit OS.

Will give it a week and see if its resolved by the developer, otherwise i'll be applying for a refund within the 14 day refund period, on the basis of misleading information about OS requirements from the publisher.

No.

We don't know if Win7 is officially not supported, or if they have only tested it on Win10, hence the specs saying only 10.

Do you guys get the same error when you run the exe as Admin? "CreateFile2 not found in Kernel32.dll"?

I have submitted a ticket to 2K Support and asked if Win7 is supported or not. I will let you know of their reply.

If it's 10 only, I will be joining you in asking for a refund.

Multiple users are reporting booting problems with Windows 7 64-bit despite the 2K Support website currently indicating that Windows 7 is supported - https://support.2k.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034295293--PC-WWE-2K20-System-Requirements.

I get the following error message when running the .EXE as system administrator:

WWE2K20 _x64.exe Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point CreateFile2 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

It is not which is misleading.
Werecat101 Oct 22, 2019 @ 4:31am
and has anyone gone and downloaded the latest version of that file and put it in the games directory?
