I got stuck

I have to defend a pump against waves of infected and they keep destroying it. Two leaders and two hydras. I enjoyed the game a lot but this is no fun anymore. Worst thing is when I want to take a break I have to restart the whole checkpoint instead of the last checkpoint.

Also the optional military challenge says it is easy but it isnt. It tells me to infiltrate a military base in 3 minutes. 1 minute is spend to travel. The base is protected by 3 tanks, 4 helicopters and at least 8 sensors or UAVs.

I just had to refresh myself on which part you were talking about. I'm assuming you've got your critical mass upgrade and some devastators? Make sure you use those as much as possible to quickly kill the brawlers. This should limit the destruction on the Bloodtox pump. If you're able to, try to steal a helicopter so you can Easily destroy the hydras. The others shouldn't be an issue either.

Make sure you consume people to keep your health and mass up.

You'll later come to the boss fight, you'll need to take that one slow and use devastators. When you're low on health, you'll be able to run to the infected and boost your health/mass.

As for the base events, they're simple. Get a helicopter, go to the even start and take it over to the base and fire. I'm not sure where you're having issues. Even without a helicopter, you can just hijack a tank and focus 100% fire on the building and it won't take long to collapse.

Destroying the base results in a fail. I have to infiltrate the base.

EDIT: I found another nice method. I grabbed some rocket launchers and grenade launchers and with them it was super easy to kill those leaders.

Oh, sorry, I completely misread what you said. Get to the base (You don't need a vehicle) and make sure you're using a military disguise then stealth consume the general. You should only have issues with that if something else is already happening, but generally, you'll be able to find a position where he's not being watching by anyone.

For the pump, grab rocket launchers and attack anything that attacks the pump - their attention will then be on you instead of the pump. Also, don't be afraid to go off and replenish your health if it gets low.

As for the side missions, I didn't bother playing any, so I can't help you with that unfortunately.

Thx guys. I finished the game now. Green was by far the hardest boss.

I was able to finish the base infiltrations as well. I consumed him in front of all. Then I ran away from the thehelicopters and rushed back to the base entrance to enter the base.

Prototype 2 is far superior to its predecessor. It's one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played. If it was still $60, I'd say I definitely got my monies worth for it.

I would prolly buy it but : Low Violence: The German Low Violence version is only available with German subtitles and English Audio.

Here's your solution to hydras, either get a thermobaric tank, or a tank, but not APCs, cuz they're weak as hell against hydras, and your solution to leaders, just equip the blade, target the leader you want to git, jump in the air, and unleash the second attack, that air slice does massive damage, it can instantly destroy a tank or kill a hunter in one hit, but it doesn't INSTANTLY kill the leader, you have to repeatedly air slice the leader.
