The game crashes on the 1st loading screen

so trying as new game or continue game doesnt make any difference, the game always crash on the 1st loading screen, how to fix this?

I'm experiencing the same problem. Would like to find the solution so I can play this game. Hopefully there's a fix.

I tried it today and it worked fine on my 60hz laptop with Intel graphics but as soon as I tried my desktop 1080 ti with 120hz screen, nope.

maybe it's because it needs 60hz mode or the game was less picky with Intel, I don't know but try some suggestions lower down the page here:

Set affinity of steam to use only 4 cores of your processor. Quite simple; go to task manager, details, steam.exe, right click "set affinity"

awwwwwh someone beat me to it but yes Reks got it spot on. or you can turn your cores down to 4 through your config as well :)
