So I've gathered all the fixes for Prototype, like FPS stutter, low volume, CPU crashes, and set desktop native resolution, here ya go my boiz:

I was so excited for this but the CPU fix doesn't work for me(Intel CPU). I guess the PS3 version will have to do. When I get my motherboard replacement for my newest computer, I'll try this again with the Ryzen.

Did you try to copy to Prototype folder and launch both bat. files? I am sure you already know this but you don't launch the game from steam but from the copied bat files.

Also maybe you can try to edit the first one with a notepad and instead of "F" value you can put "3" which should make the game run only on 2 cores. Or edit the second one and put "0xFF" instead of 0x64.

Another one would be to go to your BIOS setting and turn off hyperthreding. Some people had success after that.

Anyway the final solution would be to reboot the pc with only 4 cpu cores (or even 2).

Ya, I tried that and it still crashes. I've got it to work before by turning off hyperthreading. Maybe I'll just turn off HT on this computer since I won't use it again when my motherboard shows up, and just plug it in when I want to play this game.
