Activison has the IP for Prototype but they aren't making a third game because the game didn't had a "broad audiance".

this topic is very old no idea why it has been revived but like others said radical shut down and activision has the ip.great concept ,fun gameplay but activision mostly cares about money nowadays.also i kind of hated 2.it had better graphics and a more detailed story but in terms of gameplay one was more diverse and paid more attention to small details.also i hated what they did to alex.that turn around was total nonsense ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥(featured in a comic book)

Its been more than 3 years since this post. I doubt we will ever see another prototype project see the light of day. As this project is dead as of now. Even the part 2 of the series is unavailable in some countries.
