Can no longer change graphics with Nehrim launcher

The changes I make to the graphics settings don't seem to take. The main problem is that mobs and much of the landscape is invisible until I'm almost on top of them. This makes sneaking up to enemies impossible and running away quite tough as I don't see boulders until I'm on top of them.

When I make changes to the graphics settings in the launcher and click save, they save. But nothing seems to change at all in the game. I usually play medium to low graphics just fine, but this new issue has just cropped up out of nowhere. I have experimented with the visibility settings to no avail. Turned off/on ENBoost as well. I even tried changing other settings (waves, reflections etc.) just to see if anything changes. Nada.

I know it has worked in the past as I changes the settings a couple of times after install to get the lagging/crashing under control.

I have no other mods installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a problem with write permissions. That means the ini files cannot be changed. Possibly caused by Windows itself or your anti-virus program.
Manually remove the write protection in the directory c: / user / "your username" / documents / my games / Oblivion

Start the Nehrim Launcher as an administrator.

Whitelist the Enderal Launcher in your Anti Virus program.

If that doesn't help, I recommend reporting your problem to our forum.
