How to clean the aquarium?

Hello, I did not understand the aquarium cleaning system. I saw that there was a dirt gauge, but it was filling up, and there was nothing I could do to clean the aquarium.
I can click on the icon that looks like a sponge, the money is removed, but not the dirt. As a result, my fish are sick and there is nothing I can do.

Hi, the click on the icon to buy a sponge starts a mini cleaning game where you have to move the sponge into a circle a few times.

I did not understand the principle, the sponge disappears as quickly as I bought it.

edit : I understood the system, but it takes reflexes. As a result, I have no more money.

Personally, this system prevents me for the moment from enjoying the game at its fair value, too bad.

The time goes down far too quickly in this mini game. I am wasting all my money trying to clean the tank so cant buy any more fish and am stuck with a very dirty unhappy goldfish. The game is unplayable like this as its impossible to clean the tank and your fish die. Will be asking for my money back.

It gets pretty simple once you get the hang of it but the tank gets dirty way to quick in my opinion, there isn't enough to really do with your tank immediately, i feel there should be more management options, more research depth to acquire each fish in your tank..just add some flavor to it.

Video won't play for me. In any case, I agree that the tank cleaning mini-game is a big impediment to enjoyment of the game. It might be different if it was a one-off bonus or something, but for something so integral as cleaning the tank there needs to be an option for those of us without lightning-fast reflexes.

Currently working on an option to disable it if required, looking to keep it accessible and not skill gated.

Feature has been implemented, you can now disable the mini game in the options menu under the Game play tab. (make sure you reload steam to make sure it downloads the patch)

Also if anyone experiencing issues with the cleaning I could use either some footage or the time it takes till it depletes. There could be a speed issue for some user that I'd love to fix and just looking to confirm.

So, I finally managed to make the mini cleaning game, it was easier to do than the last time.
But also, it's cool to allow to remove the mini game.
