Warning about wanna be cheaters

I'm making this post as an old post with the same name from 2019 recently got resurfaced and this as it is natural brought many questions.

When the game was released into early access it was a single play client side game with a few social mechanics like chat and leaderboards, back then everything in the game could be cheated using a cheat engine.

Fast forward a few years the game architecture has been reworked, 99% of the game is server side and cannot be cheated. The only thing that can be cheated is the progress in the main battle as it wouldn't make sense to have these insane number of calculations on our servers.

Why I am sharing that however? It might seem an idiotic invitation by telling everyone what they can cheat.

As a matter of fact:

we ban on daily basis almost 1% of the new players we get from Steam for cheating.

People that are used to checking if a game can be cheated launch their cheat engine and cheat the max stage/level/gold etc things that are related to the main battle that is vulnerable. However these things are very obvious as by having the game data about the progress of millions of players since 2019 our systems understand and flag potential cheaters.

At the same time the amazing moderator team which is a volunteer team of players actively hunt anything abnormal using their experience, like it doesn't make sense to be stage X and character level Y without having this progress on the various mechanisms. After they report the people that they think that have cheated we cross check and everyone gets banned.

So far moderators are mistaken in less than 1 every 500 reports. Still we verify each report as we wouldn't risk a legit player getting banned.

To make the long story short if you are seeking for games to cheat this is not for you. In less than 24 hours you will be permanently banned and out of the leaderboard.

I mean, what is the point of cheating in a game that mostly is played as a relaxation from everyday life (well that's what I do when I want to relax )

Hello, I wanted to tell you that in the Spanish chat there is an alleged hacker who is threatening to take away my account. I think it's called: HAKCER TOP 1 or something like that. And I say that I think it's called that because my friend just informed me, since she is using my account, to make matters worse, my friend blocked the supposed hacker with my account and her account and I cannot confirm his name exactly. I would like to know if they can do something with that user who threatened me.

Y digo que creo que se llama así porque mi amiga me acabo de informar, ya que ella esta usando mi cuenta, para colmo mi amiga bloqueo al supuesto hacker con mi cuenta y su cuenta y no puedo confirmar su nombre de forma exacta. Me gustaría saber si pueden hacer algo con ese usuario que me amenazo.

We checked him out and it's just a kid who wants attention
However, he is only level 15 and his max stage is only 69.
Not a hacker but just a troll.
