The quests will select a hero based on the heroes you have unlocked at the time you received the quest. As they are a weekly quest, you will receive the quest at the start of said week.
1.10 Will my rewards upgrade if I level up?
The rewards are determined the first of each month. If, in the mean time, you unlock a new rarity, the rewards will not be upgraded. There is no point holding off a claim expecting a better chest.
1.11 Do Daily Quests carry over when unfinished?
Daily quests don't carry over to the next day. If you start a research and finish it the next day, it will count for the next day.
1.12 Can I complete a quest offline ?
No quest can be finished offline.
Researchs and anything taking time to complete will not be completed offline, but will be counted as completed the next time you open the game.
Which means starting a research at 10am which lasts 2 hours will not count for this day if you turn off your game and restart it tomorrow. The research will count for tomorrow, when you restart the game.
1.13 Are multiple bonuses multiplicative or additive?
The sum of the bonus from the battle pass are added together, and this sum is multiplicative with the rest of the bonus from every other sources.
If you have 10% firestone research time reduction twice in the battle pass, the battle pass will provide you 20% firestone research time reduction, which will be multiplicative with the other firestone research time reduction bonus
Raining gold and all attribs in the golden pass are multiplicative though.
1.14 How is the value of the rewards in relation to the cost of the Battle Pass?
The value of the rewards exceeds the cost of the golden Battle Pass several times.
From a cost-benefit point of view, the Battle Pass is literally worth its weight in gold.
1.15 What are "special upgrades"?
The special upgrade can be found on the "Upgrades" panel in the battlefield. You will find all the upgrades, including a first line, guardian upgrades and then hero upgrades. Special upgrades are the first line only.
The hero and guardian upgrades doenst count for that quest.
1.15a What are "exotic upgrades"?
City -> Exotic Merchant -> Middle Tab -> 15 Upgrades
• For 1500 gems you get:
- 1. The equivalent of 4 Amulets.
- 2. Besides this, you have currencies like: chests/beer/golden keys/guild coins/expedition emblems/blueprints/pickaxes etc..
The detailed list of rewards can be found here:Alone the value of the amulets corresponds to 6000 gems / 20 golden keys.

It is impossible to get this amount of rewards outside the battel pass for 1500 gems in this game. Neither via the tavern nor via the other exchange possibilities gems = stuffs.
From a cost-benefit point the Battle Pass is worth its weight in gold!
As f2p you get at least 2000 gems/month in the game, which is the equivalent of one (1) amulet, that means you have to collect gems for at least 3 months for the 3 most important amulets.
- Amulet of Knowledge (Reduces the research time of all firestone researches +10%)
- Amulet of Conquest (Increases the number of squads on the world map)
- Amulet of War (Reduces the duration of all world map missions +10%)
Although you can only get 1 amulet after the first month, the second after 2 months and so on. But this also implies that you don't receive the huge rewards/buffs of the golden battel pass in the first 4 months. For 1500 gems you already get the 10% firstone research on the first day which is one of the amulets you should buy first. Just like you unlock the 1 additional squad for the map missions on the first/second day, which is also one of the first amulets you should buy besides the firestone research for 2000 gems and also the equivalent of the amulet meteorite hunter is also unlocked almost immediately. Furthermore, the 5% Explorer alone, which you also unlock very early on, is not to be missed, just like the expeditioner and the second 10% firestone research. Additionally, there are also chests/golden keys/guild coins/expedition tokens/scrolls etc. as extra rewards.
In addition to the battle pass, it is possible to collect at least 500 gems per month. This seems low at first glance, but it isn't a comparison to the advantages of a battle pass. Collecting the gems for the most important permanent amulets, next to the ones for dragonblood, will takes longer. But with the same advantages as the amulets you have in the battle pass you don't have any disadvantage if you have to wait 3+ months the amulets instead of only 1 month to buy them.
Disadvantages?
Due to the costs of 1500 gems per month you can only save 500+ per month for dragon blood or other amulets, so saving takes some time.
I wasn't sure whether to pay the 1500 gems for a Golden Pass or not - but, after reading this, I went for it!
