Progress is too slow and not rewarding enough?
Im char level 37, and seeing things like : "Reach character level 120" is too huge. Who from your team decided thats great toidea lock features behind such a big wall? Or reaching zone 200 for unlocking another hero? Jeez

the stats of each wave double so obviously it will get slower over time, BUT it's an idle rpg so go on holiday for 2 weeks and you've gone up several levels by doing nothing :)

For me, its the opposite so far, I found it extremely rewarding, progress was fast enough, and I was looking forward to new stuff... its true it started slowing down a bit with the features, but the doubling of gems is still daily so far...

Im about where you are at levelwise and agree that progression is not nearly fast enough. Going from 4 characters to 5 (Beneditctus is next for me I think) is WAY too big a gap and prestiging for a few more firestones everytime doesn't help you push floors fast enough. The game feels like a worse version of Clicker Heroes in most aspects.

the progression is fast enought...in 2 month you can be lv 120 (i was on kongerate)

In 2 weeks i have now 5 heroes and level 62

progress after zone 80 already becomes painfully slow. i have not made any significant progress from 70 to 90 in the last 6 days. im quickly losing interest in the game.

there is not much progress even when you go on holiday.... This is a slow and somewhat dull idler

Perhaps you did not realize all the things you can invest in and build up new skill pages... I am now zone 156, my char is lv 41, and I have plenty to make me stronger, and I progress just fine... This seems to be not a game with 50 heroes but rather a handful, but many more skills and stuff to invest (like unlocking more inventory slots boost you really good)

The OP makes a good point. I've played a lot of idle games in the past, and none of them require you to sit at your highest floor and idle for days on end just to reach your existing total of prestige. It's an obvious "gatcha."

Even idle games that stall or wall you allow you to make some sort of notable progress by actively playing or regular prestige.

"Ooh look, I'm 20 hours into my run and nearly 50% of my current prestige... Do I leave it idle here for 2 more days to make a 200% increase (which will get my like 7 more levels deeper), or do I prestige now and take the 3+ hours to get back to my current level and only get 3 floors deeper?"

I can reset every day with doubling my prestige... you just reach your wall during the day (work) and once you are back, use all 3 scrolls, and the item to call lightning, and within 2min I surpassed my wall easily... and I can do this every day, as you get enough scrolls with missions...
I also played a lot of Idle/Clickers, and there walls took much longer, at least for me... at least until now (am lv 42 and reached zone 164...) I actually enjoy that I can get farther each time... in other games you need to grind to move your wall... True, I dont advance 20 levels a time... its perhaps more a perspective thing...

this game is meant to be played for months and not like a cod story finsihed in some hours.
Keenan Oct 21, 2019 @ 5:17am
yes it needs some adjustment. If you look in the global chat players are leaving before reaching level 200 what happens at level 200 ? you get a new hero but i bet the game wont speed up lol. im just about to get level 200 maps and get the new hero if the game does not speed up at that point "3 full weeks of game play" i will move onto another game. As this game is just getting repetitive and boring not rewarding at all. i should of went with my gut feeling once i hit 100 and left lol

I think a part of it is the various researches, and part of it is getting and enchanting gear, which is quite laborious.

Keenan mentions getting to level 200 and getting a new hero, but of course he's not going to do that much until his gear slots are unlocked and filled.

I'm about to hit 65 so I'll be able to get some chests from the exotic merchant, I expect I'll get a spurt of forward momentum then. Well, I hope so :)

I have 4 or 5 idler games running. I log in to each once a day or once every few days, make some adjustments and log out and forget about them awhile. A couple game I have been logging in just once a week or so for over a year and still making progression.

Its just a matter of perspective as said above. Whats the big rush?

If you think this one is bad have I got 2 games for you to try.

Wizards and Minions Idle and Realm Grinder. Go play those and get back to me.
