Insanely Difficult -Why? Concealed Keyboard Controls -Why- ?
thank you for helping me.

I need help here:

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1490082922032059794/407CD045D73026D687FE8244B2A3EC50C3E7FE83/

My question or concern is; I can not get out of here and back to the truck. I have not noticed that rewinding would not be of benefit here.

There is no way the entire sequence could be accomplished in the time bracket that man pulling lever has been allotted.

What I mean is attempting to talk to man + moving back to door + switching to man pulling lever + going in room picking up champagne bottle + switching to man to activate lever + exiting room

There's not enough time for all that.

So my question is: Has my character essentially lost the round and the game is simply continuing to play as if there is still a chance to get out of room?

The reason is because no key on keyboard or mouse is allowing character to do anything.

Yes I can rewind but I've tried that. There is no success in this.

I've only just started to play this game. What possible reason would there be for game being this difficult on the normal (standard) game play mode?

The answer is there isn't any.

To overwrite actions you rewind time and move a character instead of pressing "Play".
Move the character while the game is paused by the timeline.

Hold the door open for 5-10 seconds, move Tommy in, grab it and walk out.

I understand now everything has to be done in a single step.

So much for a pleasant enjoyable gaming.experience.

I don't understand what you're saying.

I need for it to be explained what keys on the keyboard need to be pressed (in what order)
I need for it to be explained when they should be pressed
I need for it to be explained what key holds the door open?
I don't have 10 seconds
I don't have 5 secs
That is used up getting both characters to the spot they need to be positioned at in order for lever to be pressed and door to be opened

I don't have this 15 seconds that you're saying I have. I don't even have half of that

And this is whilst JUST starting playing!! There's no reason whatsoever that game should be this difficult.

You know I have a sick feeling (sort of imagining as if I were hosting a walkthrough of this on You Tube) that as game progresses player reaches a point where they are expected to be utilising at least five separate keys on the keyboard on an interface AT THE SAME TIME but not normally - instead at the speed of a working secretary in an office. As if I had practised all my life to be a tight-rope walker.

What do you mean you don't have time?

You already got Tommy into the room. All you need to do is make the other guy hold the lever open long enough for Tommy to be able to walk back out again.

Rewind time to the point where you take control of the other guy. When the timeline pauses the game automatically after rewinding, use the movement keys to redo his actions instead of pressing the 'Play' key.

What I said above is plain and simple.

If you can't understand, check a gamelay video on YouTube or something.

No I had tommy in the room

I dont anymore because I had to rewind

According to walkthrough I had to have enough seconds left to pick up bottle, activate man.have him pull lever THEN I could get out

Tommy had no more seconds in room with bottle so I rewinded

Tommy was in room with bottle + NO seconds left so other man had no option of doing anything

I don't have the time you think I do... When Tommy goes to door and both are positioned I have maybe 1 to 2 seconds left

..which is why you rewind time and redo his actions, like I said.

This is what I mean UNREASONABLE 1 to 2 seconds is unreasonable!
elikos1 Aug 20, 2020 @ 8:34pm

Because you trapped yourself, but you can undo this.
When you take control of the other guy you have more than enough time to keep the lever held long enough for Tommy to walk in, grab the bottle, and walk out.
