What are Gorks used for?

Collected 30 of those bad boys and have yet to find a use for them.

Theres a guy in the first village inside a cage, he trade those for money. He speaks funny and im yet to find if theres anything to those gorks he crave so much.

Not sure why you'd destroy them, they're worth 75 Zorkins each with the Gork prisoner in Emea treetops. I'm unlocking a lot of inventory expansions with those Zorkins.

That sounds like either a weird bug or like you missed some part of the requirements for accessing and clearing the gork eruption. Please report it via the link in the following thread with your savegame attached, if you have a minute, so the developers can investigate it directly:

First, you have to kill everything around the Gork nest. You can check the list on the left side of screen. You'll see what you have to do in order to destroy the nest.

as far as ingame dialogue goes i kinda got the hint that The Gork was saying that you also improve the fime-freeze ability, like you can "upgrade" the other abilities, when handing him more Gork. Never checked if that was actualy the case.
