How to disable base shields

Not long into the game, got 3 bases with shields around them, they also have what looks like drills right next to em but cant get to those either, how do I disable these base shields? Thanks

They're disabled as you progress through the story. Someone else will do it for you.

Yeah, that's right. The base shields come down as you progress, I found a base/outpost north of the village of Emea where the invaders are sucking the nutrients and white helidium out of the trees.

Take out that outpost and the first shield for one of the bases nearby will go down, inside that base you'll find the rifle weapon so you can then make use of red helidium in combat with the rifle. Cool stuff

dont worry as they will kick your ass with heavy cyborg and snipers. I end up delaying the first unshielded base.
