Its pretty decent. The enemies are fairly intelligent and fun to shoot at.
Theres a decent variety of weapons, and they all have a nice weight to them.
The graphics and sound are very up to par, even for as old as the game is.
The time manipulating is pretty fun, and you can really use it willy-nilly to pull off some crazy ♥♥♥♥.
Not just slow-mo, but being able to stop it and pull the weapons right out of your enemies hands. Or throwing a grenade and watching them all fly away slllooowwwwwllyyy on fire.
..and its not just a gimmick here. You'll really need it in some spots in the game.
Sometimes theres just so many enemies and 'heavy' guys spraying bullets at you that theres no possible way to get past them without it.

I'd say overall its a good game, though.. I kinda feel like $15 should be the 'regular' price, and not just a sale.
If you're bored and itching for a new shooter that mixes things up a bit, i'd say go for it.

I read somewhere that this game apparantly has bots for the multiplayer mode? Just wondering if this is true because I'm thinking of buying it.

Usually once a game is a few yrs old the MP part of a game is DEAD so i rarely buy games with MP thinking i'am gonna play it & get a good ping.
The SP in this game is great, even game's like Deus Ex-HR, Singularity, Red Faction-A, Metro-2033 & STALKER have been sold for 5$ & those are great titles.

I will get this when it's finally 5$

just think of Half Life with halo put into it, and your power is using time shifting, slow, speed, and rewind

Didn't Fear have the slow time power during combat? I think I remember liking that cool effect.

Yeah, in FEAR though it's explained as the character having superhuman reflexes rather than actual time control.

Storyline, graphics, and buttery smooth gameplay.

This game is great, but being almost 7 years old, $20 is too much to ask. I've been waiting for this to go on sale for a loooooong time, but no go. I think it's sad a block buster like Skyrim goes on sale for less than $8.00, just a couple years after it's release, but Timeshift, which wasn't near as popular, has only gone down to $20 after almost 7 years. Doesn't make any sense.

But if you have money to burn, definitely pick this game up, it's awesome.

let me put it to you this way. when you get to finish it you WILL want more. There is not one moment that you feel bored at all. This game came out at the same time crysis did and I have to say I always prefered this one over crysis. Only thing that crysis had that was better than this was the multiplayer.

I was there since day one and yes Crysis was suppose to be EA's new multiplayer succesor. But, it failed cause it did not have permanent stats like battlefield 2. So people never left battlefield 2 for crysis. Let me put it to you this way. If you preordered the game all you got was an APC for the multiplayer and I got it for that reason. So if the game wasn't so hipped up for the multiplayer why bother put that there? It was the first multiplayer game from it's era to have maps that big with night time and day time running. it was a BIG deal. I don't know how you don't know this.

It plays lot like bioshock and has 'stolen' many things from that game. Replace underwater city with russian experimental research station and ADAM with Element 99 and you get singularity. If you liked the first bioshock, you will like this also. You can also do time manipulation which leads us to Bioshock Infinite ... You can travel through rift to past and change things. I think they used rifts better than what Infinite did.

The graphics are bit outdated as there are very little you can do to enhance them. I used some

This is the Timeshift thread (unless you are replying to someone else, therefore I apologize).

I don't know about that I believe that timeshift was in dev way longer than bioshock.
