Solution that helped me:
1) download 3D-Analyze and run it:
http://www.tommti-systems.de/main-Dateien/TOOLS/dontlinkthefile_3danalyzer-v236.exe
or from http://nvworld.ru/utilities/3danalyze
2) select TimeShift.exe
3) in the field Vendor ID type 4318
4) click RUN
5) in the appeared window (which says that driver is not supported), click Run
6) enjoy.

1) качаем прогу 3D-Analyze по ссылке
http://www.tommti-systems.de/main-Dateien/TOOLS/dontlinkthefile_3danalyzer-v236.exe
или с этого сайта http://nvworld.ru/utilities/3danalyze
2) кликаем SELECT и указываем exe-шник игры
3) в поле Vendor ID вставляем 4318
4) кликаем RUN
5) в появившемся окне (информирующем о неподдерживаемом драйвере) жмём запуск
6) идём пинать чувака в костюме альфа.

For those wanting to try this, dont forget under Win 8.1 to run 3d analyzer in administrator mode, or it wont be able to inject into the process.

Should Windows version matter? I watched youtube video from a guy that experienced same problem on windows XP! Demo version of TimeShift runs fine, but final release fails to start.

It may be the case in the version of the system. I'll check.
The game does not work on some modern graphics cards. I run it on the AMD Radeon HD 6490M. And what model you have?

My version is AMD Radeon 6600M and 6700M Series (actually it´s a HD 6750M Power Xpress). I5 processor, 4 cores (2 physical ones). It does not run.
Brian did you try to overwrite the original exe with the demo version? Maybe it can work?
