my favorite youtube says you can get mutant marry jane but cant get it if you know how to please tell me

In my play through just now Mary Jane became a mutant after using the boy scout handbook on mutant spiders event.

In the spider situation if you do NOTHING, then there is a CHANCE that she will become a mutant. I have also heard that she can become a mutant if you do nothing in the goo situation where your pipes are leaking, although I personally have yet to see her mutate from this scenario. I have also heard that she can mutate if cockroaches are in your bunker, also have yet to see this myself.

It's kinda RNG. You just gotta get lucky.
The Banana Man explained it well. I've heard that she has a better chance of becoming a mutant if she's Sick or Tired, but I don't know if it's true. It's very rare, so you'll have to be patient. It's well worth it once you do though.

There are multiple scenario's in which you can get Mutant Mary Jane, it's often in ways where it would make someone sick. For example, you can do nothing in the spiders events and mary jane is bitten and becomes a mutant. There are also the cockroaches, and sometimes the green liquid event. Even if you do these things it's still down to luck, i'd say it's decently rare as i've only ever gotten here once in the original game.
