Tank and Car Ending

I've tried looking it up and just playing to get it but I cannot get the tank or car ending at all and I can't find how to do it. Does anyone know how?

It's RNG but you have to go on some expeditions. and then at some point you'll get to upgrade the thing with some items.

Idk how it works other than that but it also spans through playthroughs.

As I saw once, sometimes there will be the option to use one of your items (I forgot them) to fix the tank or the car.

I finished the car ending. its purely luck. As far as I know, you can trigger it just once every round.
If you dont trigger it in the first 50 days. just give up.
Also I think you need more than 1 person alive to trigger it. never happend, when just one person lived.
Once waited 100+ days for the event. Never happend.

I wouldnt actively search for it. Just play and be happy everytime you trigger it.

I only managed to get the grill crates on the tank, and that's it. I also sent Ted out to do something with the car (he found the keys), but he "ignored the car matter and went on a party instead". That's literally what he did wth.

yeah sometimes while scavenging it say ( what if we find a vehicule to get out of here ) so do more exepedition like 2 3 until a event append (they saw a vehicule nearby) and you can get / upgrade the vehicule like this . BUT Those event can show only 1 time Per Game so don't attempt to upgrade the vehicule two time on the same playtrough

It takes a couple playthroughs. You may work on the car in one playthrough but never finish it. Next time the family will find the uncompleted auto and continue to work on it. If you go out to the title screen during a playthrough after you've encountered the vehicle you can see what it looks like as the work progresses.

I finally started on the tank after building the ice cream truck 3 times! Still haven't kitted it all the way out.
