it is super nostalgic to me, reminiscent of old school 2-d RPGs, and it has a lot of comedic flavor and style.
As for, the difficulty, I didn't find it to be difficult at all. There's only one thing to learn, and that's the rhythm timing... getting better at that is the only "thing" to do.
But, understanding which stats matter more is the secondary skill. To me, though, it was never too hard. A bit challenging but not too much.
