Game running to fast
Game is running way too fast. All the audio timings are off. I tried limiting the games framerate to 60 and that didn't do anything. Any fixes?

bump. I'm assuming the game speed is tied to your processor speed or something

that's what I'm thinking too, I'm finagling with control panel to see if i can get something to work. If I find something that works I'll make sure to post it here.

I'm having the same issue, although any change I make with the VSYNC/computer age setting either makes the game too fast, or incredibly slow.

EDIT: Setting my monitor's refresh rate to 60hz seems to have fixed it up.

having the same issue as AnxiousBlue, without VSYNC the game runs incredibly slow, and with it the game runs at nearly 3x speed

Yeah same here.

Is there a way to fix this without skipping the entire intro cutscene? A whole cutscene plays and an NPC strikes up a conversation before I can reach the settings menu. If not, I'll probably just hold off until a fix is implemented for this issue,

This worked for me, thanks! No wonder all the minigames were too damn hard...

Same issue. It worked normally originally but now it's too fast. After messing with the vysync it goes too fast when vysync is on, and too slow when off. My computer age doesn't affect anything. I'm going to just wait and keep checking back here until there's a solution before I keep playing.

If you're running an Nvidia graphics card, a way you can fix this without turning down your monitor's refresh rate is:

1) Open up the Nvidia Control Panel.
2) Go to Manage 3D Settings in the left hand panel.
3) Click on the "Program Settings" tab so that you're only adjusting settings for Knuckle Sandwich.
4) Select Knuckle Sandwich as the program.
5) Set "Max Frame Rate" to 60 FPS.

I think Intel and ATI cards have a similar set of options in their respective control panels.

I'm not sure why turning off Vsync causes slowdown. Running with these settings seems to fix things.

Unfortunately changing these nvidia settings did not make the game run at a normal speed for me. Also had no luck with the solution the author found helpful which was turning off the vysync. That just makes the game run slow.

The nvidia control panel fix seemingly worked for me, but I dont know if there's other issues as that burger minigame is impossible to control. It feels like I'm missing inputs - could this be related?

I honestly thought this was intentional.
