First off I really wish there was a "Maybe" option on here cause I don't want to say that I outright don't recommend this game. For me it's a very mixed bag. (Also for context I played with the uncensored patch from Kagura Games).

Starting with the good, the art is great, girls are sexy, the game has new game+ (two variants to boot: one that starts from the beginning and one that starts right before you choose a route to go down) and a way to unlock all sex scenes after beating one route (a lifesaver since some of the mini-events aren't super obvious if you don't have a guide open).
While a little underutilized, the actual detective work portion of the game is actually pretty fun and upgrading your skills to improve your performance in both that and combat is pretty satisfying, if somewhat time consuming.

Now for the bad. Honestly I think the most painful thing about the game is that most of the good in it has some sort of negative attached. Great art? For the females, yes, but the males involved are just faceless goons that don't look like actual people which really breaks the immersion in the parts of the game that I kinda want to focus on most. Sexy girls? Yeah, but the number of times they appear in the same scene together can be counted on one hand and there are absolutely no non-het scenes despite multiple places there would've been potential for. Unlocking all scenes? There's no way to reverse it if you decide you want to unlock them manually later.
Then there's the parts that are just outright unpleasant on their own. The actual combat part is extremely bare bones and equipment is so limited it makes me wonder why they even bothered. The game has two routes, however the gang route feels much more satisfying than the police route for a number of reasons (ironically it's also the most combat heavy), not the least of which is its mechanics actually being consistent with the post route-lock content (in comparison, the police route drops all the detective work in favor of two obnoxious mini-games that never appeared prior, one of which only lets you save once before it and punishes you for screwing up even once during its three segments).
Then there's the fact that the majority of the sexual content doesn't even really feel like it belongs in the same game, with the shift from main story to side-quest feeling like whiplash. There are a few points in the main story that involve the sex stuff, but they don't mesh well and feel like they were added to try and haphazardly mend that issue.
Then there's the issue of this being yet another game where women enjoying sex in any capacity is a sign of "corruption", with Sophie's Reason (described in-game as her ability to think with a sound mind about anything other than sex) dropping if she's involved with sex in any way and the game having almost no sexual content if you act like anything other than a sex-crazed deviant (including places where Sophie herself outright admits she's acting out of character). There are hundreds of articles about why this is a problem written by people that can explain the topic in better detail than I can, but suffice it to say it's a very unfortunate problem in a lot of eroge that I really wish wasn't so common.

All that said, do I think this is bad? No, and I'm sure there are plenty of people who'll play this and enjoy it greatly and I hope they do. Unfortunately, unless this game gets some dlc in the future, it's one that I myself don't imagine I'll be going back to.

It's not a bad game, however, everything about it feels generic from the combat to the H-scenes; of which nearly every combat encounter is more or less identical and the H-scenes are more or less 4 or so of the same scenes but with slight changes. I got more entertainment out of grinding levels and looking for scrap to upgrade my equipment and in a H-game that's a bad sign.

Honestly, this wasn't the one. The music is nice, the graphics are great and even the story isn't too bad. However it's very bland in many ways. The combat is honestly wack, since there are ONLY like legit 4 options to use for combat. The CGs and scenes are meh. Honestly, it's lacking in this department by a lot. You will get three different events that have the same scene setting and the same CGs presented, but the scenes and CGs are definitely not as sexually thrilling as Makina, THC, etc. The game is fairly quick and most of the time, you're either walking around looking for quest you've previously accepted but have no idea of doing it because they have nothing to remind you of where to go. Lastly, the city, honestly it's so one dimensional it's crazy no one is talking about any of this. Legit only 9 squared spaces in the city that you can travel to and the quest will tell you to go top left of the city, bottom right of the city, etc. and the city itself is just bland rectangular tall buildings with a little bit of steampunk. If you're still reading, listen closely, this game is HIGHLY overrated. I've played most of Kagura's published titles, but I think this might be at the bottom of the list, if not, very close to the bottom. This wasn't the one

Exposing boobs near mechanical machines is not safe or sexy imo. No one, including the protagonist, is dressed for their jobs and all I see are increased risk of injuries everywhere. The characters are interesting in themselves but not in context of the game.

Yes I know the game is more a vehicle for porn than an actual game, but even as far as porn games go, this was pretty lackluster. The game gets very repetitive with how it wants you to handle tasks since it pretty much always is just "Go here and talk to someone". You rarely do any detective work outside of maybe one of the final quests in the game where you have to figure out who the real person is between them and a lookalike. Even in the opening case, I was hoping I'd at least get to choose who the killer was, but no the game does that for you.

Then you have the side-story that involves fighting enemies and bosses in turn based RPG battles to free up the slums from a rival gang's rule. The combat is very simplistic and doesn't have much of anything in terms of variety. I didn't even finish that side-story (I got close, but gave up by the time it was doing 3v1 fights). You don't learn any skills from leveling up, but instead invest points you get from completing quests and using materials gathered from chests and defeated enemies to get stronger or gain new skills. Sounds fine, but you also have to dig all over town to find people to teach you these skills. I'll tell you right now, don't bother investing any skill points into the one that allows for an RNG chance to instantly take out an enemy from behind. Most of the enemy placements are done in a way to make sure you can't sneak up on them and the RNG rarely goes in your favor, so it's just a waste of points. As far as skills you can use in battle, all I found was the lady that teaches you how to cast healing spells that are worse than using a potion since potions heal a percentage amount whereas the spell heals a fixed number. There's also not much in terms of gear to make your stats go up. You can basically buy the best gear in the game very early on for pretty cheap and then the only use for money is buying potions.

The game isn't really all that fun to play as a game and honestly you can probably just find the porn images somewhere online. If you really want to play a turn based RPG with porn in it, Melty's Quest is still my favorite in that regard.

This had the potential to be a really cool h-game. Instead you either chose an h-game or you chose a detective game. The mechanic for unlocking all but the earliest scenes also ends up preventing you from pursuing the detective path.

Apart from the h-mechanic, the game has some polishing that would drastically improve the experience. The mini-map is pretty terrible. There's no overall city map, so you have to remember locations on your own or wander around a lot. The control schemes are inconsistent not only with most other games but with itself.

For me this game feels like a nice early beta that needs a lot of finishing up and balancing. If you don't care about that and are purely into chauvinistic fantasies, then go for it, but even then there are many options accomplishing that goal better.

Has an interesting premise and the edges of a good plot, but fails to deliver. The 'mysteries' that you solve are all quite short and mostly boil down to simple fetch quests rather than any kind of puzzle solving. The gang route is nothing more than boring and repetitive fights, that require almost no skill to complete.

This could have been a lot better than it was, but it's too half-ass in too many ways. The heroine's design is the reason I played this and by the end it is the only real positive I have for the game.

Shoddy, careless work. I could've overlooked the parts that weren't translated, resulting in random chunks of kanji instead of something legible. I could've overlooked the lack of a mission journal, the fact that the one mission indicator on the screen sometimes doesn't show any information at all, and the fact that some cases are just listed under the obvious placeholder "CASE NAME" in all capitals. I could even have overlooked the total lack of explanation of skill points and large blocks of your battle HUD. But then the quest progression just stops about four main cases in, with no indication of how or where to get it started again. I orbited the entire map about four times. I talked to everyone. I slept, I checked the desk, I slept, I checked the desk - nothing. The original game might be less of a waste of time and money. I don't know. I doubt that what I tried to play resembles it too closely.

The game, as it is sold on Steam, is a poorly cut version of a strong H game. As is, you will bump into content that has not been translated, find parts of the character progression that are missing, and just feel like you're playing a mediocre game, which may prompt you to seek out the H patch.

This is where I parted ways with the game, and mark is as a hard pass. The patch restores the full character advancement, fixes much of the dialog, but also restores the "Adult Content", which seems to be mostly of scenes of violent rape.
