Right?
Would be a lot easier to tell if this was visibly documented in the game instructions...
secondly, auto conjuring automatically takes the mana from spells as needed and then reassigns it back there when its refilled so i'm not sure how your even having this issue.
Also, I like to throw everything on to certain conjurings (eg Jadu Mantar) so they go faster. This system makes it hard to do so...
Needs an option on the spell tab to turn on/off (at least temporarily) so that we can make adjustments and not have to be fighting the auto assign. Of course, this then kinda encourages a way to set the default mana to use on each spell so that when you turn it back on, it gets assigned as you want it...
A suggestion for the devs, if they see this topic, might be to add a "lock" button on the spells tab. Function when enabled = any mana assigned into spells cannot be pulled out by auto conjuring.
And a suggestion for you so long as that lock does not exist and so long as this still seems like an issue for you... Just disable auto conjuring? On the conjuring tab you can toggle off the "auto" at the top of each column or you go through and right click on specific conjurings to turn them off individually.
(You'll reach a point in the game eventually where this concern will seem trivial. Personally, I'm at [5e9 base mana cap / 64.6e6 base mana refill / 40.1e6 base mana power] and [5.6e15 total mana cap / 329.2e21 total mana refill / 493.6e21 total mana power]. Each time the mana refill bar completes (which takes 1.19 seconds) it's worth 329.5e21 mana. All conjurings pretty much complete instantly as soon as they get their mana assigned to them, and it takes hardly any time to regain the mana after it's used up by a conjuring level. I have all of my mana dumped into spells to protect it from town plaza prestiges, but honestly the amount of mana on the spells stopped being relevant a good long while ago. (Granted, I haven't yet done the challenge that replaces the spells with stronger / more expensive spells.) All of my spells are supercharged with mana beyond the point of having them all level at max speed. All of my spells actually build up a massive surplus of experience that can actually keep them leveling themselves for a while even if all of the mana is removed from them for a while. (Summon Dragon, for example, is at 30.1e42 exp banked with only 68.2e27 exp needed for the next level.))
