How to get slimes ?
With hindsight it does sound stupid, but really early on I thought that it would be a good idea to put my first slime in the museum to get some buffs, which shouldn't be a problem since it's low level anyway
However it sems like I highly overestimated the drop rate and I still don't have any slime whatsoever, even tho that was quite a few tens of hours ago
So now I'm sitting there like a moron because my slime page is pretty much useless and I'm guessing it's slowing me down quite a bit
Am I missing something, is there a bug or is the drop rate really that low ? And if it's a drop-rate problem, is there any way to have informations about it ?

Thank you !

I don't know if there's anywhere in-game to see any information about their drop rates, but according to the wiki ( https://wami.fandom.com/wiki/Slimes ) they have a 0.03% chance per kill in most of the zones, a 0.01% chance per kill in SZ3 / SZ6 / SZ9, and they do not drop at all in any other SZ beside those specific ones.

There's a feature (arenas) much later in the game that has an upgrade available for purchase which improves slime drop rates in the later zones, but it doesn't state what the default rate is like I've seen some other upgrades throughout the game mention.

Was there something else...? Oh, yeah, in the cooking feature there's a bonus to improve slime drop rates in all zones. Nothing there mentions the default rate that they start at either.

I saw that too, but it's now been more hours than it should for me to drop one, so unless I'm VERY unlucky it seems wrong to me
From my (very unprecise) calculation with these numbers, I should have theoretically dropped 10+ slimes already, which is why I was wondering if I need to unlock something first to drop one
Anyway, thank you for your answer, I guess waiting is the only thing I can do for now

It will probably only be an issue early game, where slimes aren't exactly useful, just a nice but small bonus. Later you will have the problem of getting more slimes than you know what to do with.

Then it becomes a matter of finding slimes that have specific bonuses. That's another headache on its own ...

To farm more slimes, you can do a few things

1.- Time Warp adventure to speed x5 the amount of killed enemies per hour
2.- Try to farm for slimes in a 1 shot area, either lower adventure zone or increase your attack value
3.- Cook Slime drop rate potions.. At very high levels (stage 700) this increase perhaps x6 drop ratio speed. Beware these potions ALSO are used at x5 ratio if you are time warping, so... this can not a good idea if low on fish

There are more options, but require high level stuff (arena, sinergy v2...)

I do this when i want to create frankenslimes, in order to use them as essence fodder, perhaps need 8 -12 hours (so 60 hours cook) to get roughly 100 slimes required to create one, considering all bonuses i have now.

I believe farming 10 or 20 a day can be done, BUT in the very beginning getting one AND being a useful one is VERY HARD

NOTE: There is a slime bonus hard to get once you reach it, "summon bonus" only pops in an special zone
