These are the maximum BDs required (without / with the potion) to reach 1 tick maxspeed if posible (else in 2,3 or more ticks)
With 5194 BDs
But then the optimum that I've desired to reach in those few times that I've considered actually calculating something instead of just doing whatever I want is to have the best spread of however many baby demons out between all of the synergy lines at the same time. And it seems that the optimum desired by other players is more about dumping everything you've got into one specific line and getting just that one line alone to be efficient?
For my own purposes, what I ended up throwing together in a sheet on my PC takes in all the amounts of progress needed for each bar fill as inputs and turns those into ratios to use to divide the work equally between all of the lines. (The hope / intention being that all lines ought to fill at the same speed, or close enough to the same ballpark. I don't really know how well I pulled it off, though. I just don't feel like being too picky about the results and so I just go with "meh, it should be good enough".)
Right now I've got I1-I6 all at their minimums, I7 at 50470 progress per bar, II1-5 all at their minimums, II6 at 59740, II7 at 207590, III1-4 all at their minimums, III5 at 190600, III6 at 405430, and III7 at 665020. With those values and my current cap of 3942 baby demons my sheet comes up with a spread of...
(I used https://www.teamopolis.com/tools/bbcode-table-generator.aspx to generate the code to format the table.)
At times when I haven't used my sheet to come up with numbers like that (and when the actual synergy tab is just for light and passive whatever growth while the real emphasis with most of my baby demons is in baby demon plaza stuff) I've just thrown whatever around by picking the top line of each to be roughly proportional to each other (1, 2, and 5 babies for example) or weighted slightly to emphasize tan over cos and cos over sin (1, 3, and 8 babies for example) and then the rest of the lines just increment from those values by whatever arbitrary step sizes I feel like using (usually each next line on sin takes +1 baby compared to the line above it, each next on cos is +2, and each next on tan is something like +3 or +4). Zero attempt for any kind of optimization being done, obviously.
I just decided most skills are not so useful, even costing 1/Nth others, so I raise most somewhat slowly. For example... Whats the use of investing BDs nonstop into mana cap rate? Got 7500 mana cap to 500e198 mana. ARGH still in the e159 range...
When i decide to go for "Perks", then i focus active 5 Demonist (main or secondary for some rush, animist) ALL of the time for a week, focus for perks in dump bump... all BDs into perks until tick maxed, surplus go to farming Demon Essence + Sin Energy
This I do usually to try reach the minimum Cap the last ones you need to focus heavily into "Sinergy XP", so all adventure items, main machinist, and potions if you can invest some souls. There are my BDs most of the time when focusing into sinergy. Only 5 BDs stay in town ( juice ) Maxed Conjuring this way 15.000 a few days ago
Otherwise usually just focus all my BDs into the broad useful ones (generator, dungeon, conjuring...).
So... When i reach a certain very high "Sinergy XP" per tick (currently for me this is something like 60e33), I just do a few minuts (cooking generator to get nearly a x4 XP value) each skill up to this limit, then move to the next one.
So all my skills are now staying at that point, exceptions are now in the 2e36-30e36 range
