Now in MP what happens? At the moment you all have the same auto turn to review.
If you introduce FoG2 export, turn starts, first human involved battle crops up, has to stop (for everyone ... and most players won't even know why), that player chooses auto or FoG2. If its HvH then some protocol has to exist for both sides to want to export to FoG2 (again a delay), both sides will need to return the battle to Empires (somehow), and this carries on across the turn. If you are not involved in the battles you'll have no idea why turn processing is held up.
So we lose the advantage that everyone sees the same turn when they log on, even if the export routine could be coded we need a means for both players to consent to export (& some way to resolve differences of opinion) - remember that the FoG2 outcome can be very different to Empires.
Not saying it can't be added, but there are real coding and protocal issues that need to be handled. its not simple to set up and its going to massively slow the game. Some issues - what happens if one of the human players isn't active that turn? Who decides on battle resolutions then, a single turn could end up spread over a week (+) as all the players make their decisions, negotiate over whether to export etc etc
