What does moving have to do with it though? That should not even be a factor. It should only be about changing generals.
Not the case if the newly recruited unit is auto'd into the standing army. My point.
you recruit unit in this turn, not next - so after turn calculation you see no penalty (but you can see it if this army will be in battle )
Nope it takes a turn for the unit to be recruited. I recruit Companion Cav at three stars with army in province. Next turn Companion Cav is recruited and automatically placed into standing army with three stars. No experience lost.
but if you merge it with another army AND WAIT TURN, you will see three stars again (units lose one stars for ONE turn if their general never commanded them)
and again about turn order
unit recruting happen before any army move - and if army standing in region - it's equal to merge comand
in both scenario you lost turn for army without moving
So you gain experience back in one turn without doing anything? Um ok weird. Thought you had to gain experience from battles.
penalty from new units for general is temporal for one turn (-1 exp lvl) (and i definitely saw about this in general's tooltip with number of units affected)
Gotcha thanks I thought it was permanent!
