Unit Variety and managing expectations.
Before buying the bundle what kind of unit verity will I find? Will there will be the kind of choice found in DeI Rome 2? Is it as limited as Imperator: Rome? Somewhere in between?

I like to try to make "historical" armies, Hastati/Principes (Spear or Sword versions depending on the reforms) and Triarii in the early republic, in the later republic and empire Legionaries. So before buying the Masters Edition I want to know what I'll be really working with, Otherwise I may or may not get Empires and just stick to Rome 2 for my "historical" tactical battles.

Early Roman legions export to a mix of units, so you get triarii and a composite unit. The unit in Empires is a composite Legion, but changes it's stats and engineering bonus as you take the Marian reform and then Imperial Legions. Overall there are 100+ units in Empires and they often are different in FoG2 depending on your faction

Is there a list of recruitable units or faction rosters out there that you could link me to?
