Simulacra Sean easter egg

So, Im currently watching Simulacras playthrough from Jacksepticeye, and Im on episode 2. I was wondering how the game knew his game. specificly if it goes through the PCs files looking for your name. OR if it was directly coded in so any spelling of Jacksepticeye would automaticcly be changed to Sean William Mgcloclian(I know I spelt it wrong, I cant do it)

There is a part of the game where someone will ask you your name. Type in jacksepticeye instead of your name

I believe they did this for Markiplier too but the idiot typed his name as Squorp something or other so he didn't get to enjoy it.
