I got into Space Quest after it was already old-ish (late 1990s), but it's one of my favorite stories. The jokes are great, and I've replayed the games several times. The nostalgia factor is real.

I started with Space Quest III. But if you like Space Quest and if you don't already, watch "The Orville" series, I swear the creators played Space Quest and decided to make a series on it, even the uniforms made me think of the game.
