Unavaiable for purchase in Australia

Hi guys,

Normally when I can't buy a game because they haven't setup a AUD price I can still see the store page but there's no buy button.. well with this game I can't even access the store page at all. It just says "sorry this game is not available in your region". I had to use a google search just to get to this forum as it was all complete inaccessible.

My region is Australia, a country filled with Space Quest fans so what gives? Why have we been locked out of being able to buy the series on steam? It's available to us on GoG.. so someones dropped the ball here..

Not sure if you ever solved this, but just in case...

Your best bet is to buy a key from a third-party seller. This is completely legal and there are keys that will activate in Australia.

It's frustrating and stupid. I've written numerous times and not had a single reply. It's not just Space Quest, but all the old Sierra games.

I'd forgotten about this. Just sad that they care so little that they literally cost themselves money.

Thats a good idea. I actually did buy some steam games from a 3rd party site but completely forgot about the games that are invisible to me and therefore not in my wishlist. Cheers for the reminder!

I would watch whom you buy it from, most grey markets are shams and scams. Make sure they are a legit seller cause valve could come around and invalidate it because it was purchase by fraud. If you are worried about that part, you can usually find Spacequest on abandonware websites and play from your browser and no need to worry about setting up dosbox either.

I don't think Gog has the first three, unless I am mistaken last time I look it wasn't there. That's why I bought this pack when it was on sale.

GOG has had all the Quest games without problem. Which is what makes the whole ordeal a little strange, clearly distribution rights are in place but one platform hasn't bothered to use them.

That's weird, cause I w ent to look at gog before STEAM and I couldnt' buy the first three for some god awful reason. It's probably because whoever owns the license for Sierra games, doesn't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about it now.
