The main thing to turn down is cultist aggression, and if you're still finding it frustrating, lower enemy health and player damage taken a bit too. The game is more fun with more enemies, so maxing enemy count is also recommended!

This is my balance method I recommend. You will get your ass kicked if you make too many mistakes, and you won't be OP. It will prep you for Well Done and Extra Crispy.
