Reading the ReadMe.md, have in mind OUWB isn't sold anymore on Steam, but GOG release of FS still includes it
Well done mate.
Back in the day I was very much into building maps for Duke Nukem 3D using the official map editor that came with Atomic Edition. I spent countless of hours on that. I printed their manual which was something of dozens of even hundreds of pages. It was a bit of a pain in the ass to work on maps in that original editor.. very time consuming.
Thanks!
Noted - will update that
Thanks!
Yeah, one of the design goals around this was to hopefully avoid the loads of documentation required for things like tags, sounds and the like by having more textual information to describe things in the interface (somewhat inspired by mapedit itself, which did quite a bit on this for the 90s!). Hopefully you'll have a chance to spend some time with this map editor, without needing to print out a large manual :)
Should fully support Blood in general. I've been doing 99% of my testing using dosbox and Blood: One Whole Unit
Glad to hear it! Looking forward to seeing you're feedback after using it!
Interesting, it seems as if BlooM wasn't able to load all the art files. Does the Blood folder contain TILES000.ART through TILES017.ART
Edit: made some changes that may help alleviate the issue, even if tiles are missing. Will create a release tonight (EDT)
- bug fixes
- more information on the gui when moving things around
- ability to move a sector in the xy plane by using ctrl+shift
- other tweaks
Noted. Alas I'm terrible with names, so it might remain BlooM for a while
- Bug fixes (of course!)
- Prefabs for creating walls/doors
- Start of an undo/redo system
- Experimental auto lighting system
- And more!
