GDX: Like NBlood but without colour palette.
NBlood: I say it's perfect.

BloodGDX doesn't have correct colors, only if you play in software rendering but there you won't have true 3D and you will have very low FPS.
Edit: it has correct colors since a while in "true 3D" as well.
NBlood is the way to go.
Download it from here: https://lerppu.net/wannabethesis/
Also there is Raze:

But, I'm just too lazy to get that ♥♥♥♥ booted up again so nBlood will have to do.
You can play the original game in DosBox, but you won't have more than 30-40 fps at 1280x1024. It doesn't matter what rig you have and there will be a delay with the sound.
With NBlood you can play fullHD at 240 FPS, and maybe at 4K as well.
NBlood has some annoying bugs fixed (difficulty bug after loading a save, inventory refills on new map, inventory gets used after you hit enter when saving game, etc.) and has some quality of life improvements too (powerup counter, music doesn't restart every time you load a save, custom midi sound font, custom map selection menu, showing the difficulty in the save/load menu, message log has colors and priorities (so you won't miss important INI messages from custom content), etc.).
You can use custom voxels and skyboxes. The multiplayer has even more fixes and improvements, especially co-op (disable friendly fire, keep keys) and CTF (new HUD). And it is actually playable, not like Fresh Supply. But you have to port forward though. Or use Hamachi or similar.
I know that BloodGDX has custom map selection and custom midi sound font and custom voxels, etc.; I was comparing NBlood vs DosBox.
But that would still be below the currents "ports"
After like 60 hours of Fresh Supply, I can't get used to the slow movement of walk mode.
