Classic Aiming?
Any way to disable mouselook and have a locked y axis like the original?

Ha, no? Not that I can see after looking... That needs to be fixed.

Y sensitivity only goes down to 10percent

You might like to try nBlood https://github.com/nukeykt/NBlood/releases (you can disable it in that)

music goes in main folder with nblood.exe, same with crypt addon (not in addon folder), movies go in a sub directory called movie.

I don't know if movies from this version work. I used movies from the original steam release. The files I used were "game.ins" and "game.go". I think it was game.ins you have to mount to a virtual cd drive and extract movies.

You can switch between classic and 3D aiming in game options.

Do you mean the option "Full 3D Aim Look" as turning it off doesn't work for me.

I tried editing kexengine.cfg located c:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Nightdive Studios\Blood EX and setting Y sensitivity to 0 and making it read only but it still only lowers it to what feels the same as 10percent.

That only changes how 3D is rendered, not the actual mouselook.

Didn't the original DOS version have mouselook? I definitely played it with mouselook. Not that it shouldn't be an option.

From memory it had mouselook but was still auto aim. If a guy was really high up on the screen you'd have to manually look up/down but ones nearer it was auto.
