IT'S A GAME FROM 1997. It didn't have, nor NEEDS hardware acceleration at all to function! Hell, most games before like 2004 even need a graphics cards to run, they're just old enough that even modern CPU's don't need hardware acceleration to run them.
Seriously, the port is just a bit janky, white splotches appear in the levels for no reason and texture seams happen too. It's not a hardware issue, it's a software issue with the game itself. No need to insult people based on them not being able to afford a graphics card with your parent's money or not have a CPU that's not Intel, you know, the literal company that owns like 99% of the CPU market.
As for the game, I'd try running the original blood as this remaster is out of your system requirements, it sucks I know but don't vent that anger onto me, thanks.
Also to note that this game is remaster based on 1997's game, so it's not really a 1997 game, it's king of a remake with modern engine, but accurate remake using same assets. So it's not really weird to have a diferent system requirements
And again, it's not really a remaster, it's just a port to a newer engine. Same game down to the T, code's still kinda janky because WB is a ♥♥♥♥♥ about the code, but whatever. It still wouldn't need to be loaded with anything other than the CPU. You can run Duke Nukem without a graphics card and Intel with no problem and that runs on the Build engine too!
It's just the game itself being broke, not the hardware. Give it a few days and I'm certain the bug will be patched out.
Chip architecture is a thing and engines are build around certain limitation and specifications.
The old chips don't support what the engine needs to run, it has nothing to do with 'old pixelated DOS game textures'
I don't think so, they told us that they won't fix that problems. I've already refunded the game cause it has a lot of bugs after the new patch.
Turok 2 had similar issues at launch but was fixed quickly. They should've expected that people using integrated graphics would want to play a promised definitive port of Blood. When I said "pixelated DOS game textures" I meant the corrupted graphics issue.
