Controller Support?
I know im asking for stupid replies with this but im disabled and use a special controller to play games on PC. It recognizes it as a normal controller but i just have things that help me find it easier. Mouse and Keyboard is just too much and i end up in too much pain.

I know GZDoom and other such ports like EDuke supporr controllers so wondered if Night Dive did similar?

Thank you.

Just went and tried, yeah my xinput controller, Dualshock using scp registers as 360 pad, worked out the gate, has gamepad options and customizable bindings.
I'd assume any xinput controller will work all the same

As an aside, Steam now has options to configure a controller for pretty much any game even if it doesn't have native support.
Get into the general controller options and be sure your gamepad is selected correctly, then right click any game in your library and click on steam controller configuration (this is for all controllers not just steam controllers) to bind any controller button or keyboard key to any button on the controller, right stick can act as the mouse, left stick WASD, etc. You can even create a desktop control scheme and control the desktop with the controller.

Super handy for customization, figured you could use the information.

Thank you! I do actually know of this trick! However i find it doesnt emulate mouse movement as smoothly as native controller support when it comes to turning (mismatched polling rates? Not sure) i use it as a last ditch effort! Just dont know how well it would work on an oldschool shooter 😫

Thank you for all your help :)
