Nightdive please remaster soldier of fortune 1 & 2

since turok,system shock,blood got amazing remasters i would love to see the original SoF 1 & 2 remastered similar to your turok 1 & 2 pack on steam.

please make this happen!

It was released on GOG already so there's probably little incentive to do it. It also runs pretty well as it is.

a remaster on steam would be perfect. i dont use gog i donnt mind if gog gets the originals and us steam users get the remasters would be a dream.

Both those games run perfectly fine natively on Windows 10. There’s already SoFPlus for the first Soldier of Fortune to get it in widescreen and all you need for Soldier of Fortune 2 is a widescreen HUD mod. I think a remaster for those is unnecessary.

For SOF1, just download "SOF community edition", it's free and everything works very smoothly on modern computers.

Well Blood was on GOG for almost a decade (I think) before this was remastered, so that wouldn't stop Nightdive if Activision gave the okay. But if there's nothing to really remaster then yeah ND might not want to bother.

Personally I hope they find a way to port Turok 3 and Rage Wars, despite not having PC editions currently.

Is that because you need all your games in one place on Steam? I'd encourage you to try out GOG; you don't need to use their Galaxy client, you can download the installers (all single-player is DRM-free on GOG) and add them to Steam as shortcuts via "add non-Steam game" (iirc).

a remaster of SoF would be good! because it would be on steam. as my dream is to own SoF 1-2 on steam. i dont use gog sorry.

Just go and get SoF on GOG - they usually do everything to make the games run on modern Systems unlike Steam which often release classic games without any optimization for newer OS.
