Spencer
Spencer, I'm still sorting out my feelings for him. His attitude was♥♥♥♥♥♥ can't argue on that, but I also couldn't seem to be angry at him for long, not when I know there was a backstory and him making those sad faces. Still, he really got on my nerves sometimes, especially when he offered me a ride and I sincerely thought that he finally tried to make up, then BAM! he threw those nonsense at me, again, stupid brother. :steamfacepalm: That's why I was honestly relieved and happy when he found out the truth, and went back to be my brother. Reading his and Nora's banter, I suddenly thought that "I miss talking to him like this." I don't know that me or Nora saying. xD

So after all, he's my brother and I love him no matter what is what I think. Hope you guys can share some thoughts on the matter as well. Looking forward to it. :)

P.S. Sorry if my English is kinda mess up. It's not my first language. Ah, and my opinion based on Ewan's route. I haven't played other routes yet. I wonder if they are the same.

I disliked Spencer on the first route I played with Elliot and I felt nowhere near as forgiving as Nora by the end. He varies according to the route, and I like that in some routes more is resolved beween him and Nora than in others.

Yeah, it really depends on the route. I played Danny's route first, and the interactions with Spencer in that one felt genuine. I was actually really moved when he and Nora reconciled by the end. But currently I'm playing Elliot's route, and oh boy, Spencer is a piece of work in this one.

Ive managed to play all the routes, mind you not got all the endings yet lol. That said there is only one route where Spencer really goes and does something that I couldnt see myself / his sister doing if the shoes were on the other feet. Other than that one way out in left field choice in that route, I could easily see Nora reacting just the same as her brother, If know one believed her for years, if she knew her brother was not her brother anymore, if she didnt have an old friend and a whole group of new friends / love interests trying to help her sort it all out. If anything I feel more sorry for Spencer than his sister, and have never had trouble forgiving him, dealing with his inability to deal so to speak. He knows enough to know what ever is going on is very wrong, but powerless to prove / change it, and gun shy from having been burnt by it and the people around him in the past.

I'm a bit late to the game but, honestly, I'm having trouble liking him as well. I understand that, given his and Nora's past, it's no wonder why he acts like a freaking ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at many points in the game, before knowing the truth, and there are scenes where I really felt sorry for him and wanted to give him a hug. But still, I REALLY didn't like the fact that Nora had to be the only one being understanding and constantly justify his borderline abuse to her just because "he doesn't know so I can't blame him, I have to be the calm one and control my temper". At least she freaking got mad when he threw her all these accusations, but then she would always defend and justify Spencer FOR EVERYTHING and think that she was the one who needed to apologize. Even in Ewan's route, the fact that the correct option is saying nothing was his fault and he doesn't need to apologize is just... no. I know he didn't know any better because he didn't know about the supernatural, but that doesn't make all the abuse he threw at Nora go away. Especially considering, you know, in Marc's route, when Nora said she understood why Adrien lost control but was still mad at him and felt it still didn't justify everything he did but, oh, if it's Spencer? He did nothing wrong and he should be forgiven 100% and/or "they should just move on". Nora was going through hell as much as Spencer was so why does she have to take all his crap??? God. There are still things I like about Spencer (and I absolutely LOVE this game) but a lot of things just made me super mad and I have trouble seeing him as a good brother... Of course, Nora's not perfect either, but I just don't think it's fair how she has to be the bigger person every time and treat Spencer like a victim when she's as much of a victim herself. Thank god that at least Marc called Spencer out on his crap.

Agreed. It just aggravated me that Nora a;ways had to be the bigger person in pretty much everything..

For me, my feelings for Spencer is a mixed bag. When I try to look at it on his POV, then it's easy to see why he is the way he is. But it's still not fair on Nora, and I think Nora should be allowed to resent him buuuut alas. Some people are like that, they are blind and make excuses for the people they really care for..
