Space Drag Not Working

Hi.

In OVR Advanced Settings, I have my space drag (the thing where you can drag yourself around the playspace with your hand) bound to my right hand (the B button) on HELD.

On the other hand, I have the other B button set to DOUBLE to Reset Offsets.

I have had it like this for awhile and it has always worked, but now, it just straight up doesn't work. For some reason, any bindings within the OVR Advanced Settings bindings don't do anything. They do not work AT ALL, on any button.

I have tried:

- Reinstalling OVRAS
- Reinstalling SteamVR
- Reinstalling OVR Toolkit (and even running with it uninstalled)
- Verified software files/cache for each of the programs listed above
- Completed uninstalled (AND removed all files to the above programs off my my computer. Including the ones in the Steamapps folder and APPDATA)

After all of this, it STILL does not work.

Does anyone have any solutions or ideas on how to help me? It is truly annoying that a software that has worked for so long... simply doesn't work anymore.

(I have a Valve Index with the Knuckle Controllers, Windows 10)

Just happened to me as well. worked perfectly then out of no where stopped working.
specifically drag, everything else works.

I noticed if I keep holding the drag button I do eventually start moving, but I'm jumping around in a very laggy way, instead of a smooth motion.

edit: just saw this developer post on another thread:

Make sure you have "comfort mode" in the drag selection to be 0, if it's selected at different values it makes the movement happen in discrete steps (i.e. choppy)

this was my issue. for some reason it was at '10'

i had the same issue too, space drag just literally stopped working, checked comfort mode and it was at 0 for me but still nothing so im unsure on what to do as well

Ok just fixed this - Comfort mode slider was set to 10. I moved it all the way left to zero and play space mover started working again. I didn't even know about this setting.

it stop working for me somehow Space Drag is gone for me on the controller setting so i have no clue what to do :/ so i might check the Comfort mode then

where is this setting?

To those with the "Snaps back to original position" issue: Open your space calibrator and uncheck "automatically paste chaperone position" or something like that. It fixed my issue.

for me it stopped working with quest 3 with meta app i had to use virtual desktop *hope it help someone
