Strange menu glitch

I've been using Artrage for a while, and all of a sudden I have this little bug where if I go to the menu bar at the top, occasionally the button I click stays on my screen, even after exiting the program, and I have to restart my computer to make it disappear. This doesn't happen for any other program I use, so what's going on?
